AUTHORITIES ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR MAN WHO IS THE LEAD SUSPECT IN A MURDER IN PENNINGTON COUNTY. THE US MARSHALL’S OFFICE IS NOW AIDING PENNINGTON COUNTY OFFICIALS IN THE SEARCH FOR ERIC REINBOLD, WHO IS THE LEAD SUSPECT IN THE DEATH OF HIS WIFE LISSETTE REINBOLD. THERE IS A REWARD OF UP TO TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR INFORMATION THAT COULD LEAD TO HIS APPREHENSION.
A 74-YEAR OLD DETROIT LAKES MAN WAS KILLED IN A MOTORCYLCE ACCIDENT IN BECKER COUNTY OF SATURDAY. AUTHORITIES SAY DARYL SATKOSKI WAS WEARING A HELMET AT THE TIME. THE MOTORCYLE AND A PICKUP TRUCK WERE TRAVELING THE SAME DIRECITON ON HIGHWAY 34 WHEN THEY COLLIDED.
A MAN WAS ARRESTED FOR RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM IN CITY LIMITS AFTER A SHOTS-FIRED INCIDENT SATURDAY IN VIRGINIA. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO SHOTS FIRED, AND WERE TOLD BY WITNESSES THAT A MAN HAD FLED INTO A RESIDENCE. AFTER SETTING UP A PERIMETER AROUND THE HOUSE, THE MAN EVENTUALLY SURRENDERED WITHOUT INCIDENT.

THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES IS REPORTING HIGH OR VERY HIGH WILDFIRE DANGER ACROSS MOST OF NORTHERN MINNESOTA. THE DELTA FIRE IS THE LARGEST AND IS BURNING SOUTH OF SNOWBANK LAKE ABOUT 19 MILES EAST OF ELY.
