THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS ARE CREATING IN $16 MILLION CAP SPACE FOR THE 2023 SEASON BY USING A SALARY CONVERSION FOR A PORTION OF WHAT THEY OWE KIRK COUSINS FOR THE SEASON.
THE VIKINGS ALSO RESTRUCTURED THE CONTRACT OF OFFENSIVE LINEMAN GARRETT BRADBURY, AND REPORTS SAY THAT SAFETY HARRISON SMITH IS CLOSE TO TAKING A PAY CUT THAT WILL KEEP HIM IN MINNESOTA.
THE VIKINGS HAVE ALSO AGREED TO A TWO YEAR DEAL WITH CORNERBACK BYRON MURPHY, ONE OF THE TOP DEFENDERS ON THE MARKET. HE COMES OVER AFTER A COUPLE OF SEASONS IN ARIZONA.
