ROSEAU SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT TOM JEROME SAID IN A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD THURSDAY NIGHT THAT THEY ARE “PLANNING FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING DAY ONE” AFTER AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM GOVERNOR TIM WALZ.
IN-PERSON LEARNING IS BASED ON THE CURRENT NUMBER OF COVID-19 CASES PER TEN THOUSAND RESIDENTS IN A COUNTY; AND REQUIRES MASKING.
JEROME SAID THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION WILL PROVIDE CLOTH MASKS FOR ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF, AND SHIELDS FOR LICENSED TEACHERS.
JEROME SAID NON-ESSENTIAL VISITS TO THE SCHOOL WILL BE LIMITED.
THE SUPERINTENDENT ALSO SAID THE RETURN TO SCHOOL PROTOCOLS OUTLINED BY THE GOVERNOR ARE “INCREDIBLY FLUID”.
