A ROSEAU COUNTY ‘CARES’ COMMITTEE HAS RECEIVED ABOUT FIFTEEN APPLICATIONS FROM SMALL BUSINESSES FOR GRANT FUNDING RELATED TO REVENUE LOSS FROM THE PANDEMIC. ROSEAU COUNTY COORDINATOR JEFF PELOWSKI. THE COUNTY IS PARTNERING WITH NORTHWEST COMMUNITY ACTION OF BADGER TO ADMINISTER THE ‘CARES’ ACT FUNDING. IT’S EXPECTED ROSEAU COUNTY WILL HAVE MORE THAN TWO-POINT-TWO MILLION DOLLARS, WITH PRIORITIES FOR PUBLIC HEALTH, COVID COSTS INCURRED BY THE COUNTY, AND SMALL BUSINESS RELIEF.
