THE MINNESOTA STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE HAS SET CROSS COUNTRY SECTIONALS THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 12<sup>TH</sup>, WITH MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH GUIDELINES IN PLACE. THE SECTION 8A TEAM TENNIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE PLAYED OUTSIDE AT SCHOOL SITES FROM OCTOBER 5<sup>TH</sup> THROUGH THE 17<sup>TH</sup>.THE SECTIONAL SWIM MEET WILL BE THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 19<sup>TH</sup>.
THE MINNESOTA HOCKEY COACHES ASSOCIATION IS PROPOSING TO START THEIR PRACTICE SEASON NOVEMBER 9<sup>TH</sup>, AND HAVE AT LEAST A TWENTY GAME SEASON, LEADING TO A STATE TOURNAMENT NEXT MARCH.THE MINNESOTA STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE WILL TALK ABOUT THE WINTER SPORTS SEASON AT AN EARLY OCTOBER MEETING.MOORHEAD’S JON AMMERMAN IS PRESIDENT OF THE MINNESOTA HOCKEY COACHES ASSOCIATION; WHICH IS ALSO CONSIDERING A U-19 OPTION THROUGH MINNESOTA HOCKEY IF THE STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE DOESN’T AGREE WITH THEIR PLANS.
