TWO ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL KNOWLEDGE BOWL TEAMS HAVE ADVANCED TO REGIONAL COMPETITION NEXT MONTH.
TRISTAN ANDERSON, AUTUMN GROSS, CLANCY HEATH, MIA KRINGS AND LEVI STEINHAUER FINISHED THIRD (OUT OF TWENTY TEAMS) AT TUESDAY’S SUB-REGIONAL MEET; AND A SECOND TEAM OF SETH ERICKSON, RORY HINSON, LIBERTY JOHNSON, JOEY SCHNEIDER AND ERIC WENSLOFF FINISHED EIGHTH.
THE TOP NINE TEAMS ADVANCE.

 

THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD, THIS WEEK, MET WITH REPUBLICAN STATE REPRESENTATIVE JOHN BURKEL OF BADGER, WHO DESCRIBED HIS FIRST TWO MONTHS IN THAT JOB AS A “BRADY BUNCH SESSION”; REFERRING TO ALL THE VIRTUAL MEETINGS THE STATE HOUSE IS HOLDING.

THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REPORTS EIGHT NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS IN ROSEAU COUNTY THE FIRST THREE DAYS OF THIS WEEK, FOR A TOTAL OF 1783 CASES SINCE LAST APRIL.
THERE HAVE BEEN 114 CONFIRMED COVID CASES IN ROSEAU COUNTY IN FEBRUARY; THAT’S DOUBLE THE 57 CASES IN JANUARY IN THE COUNTY.
