THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL HAS ACCEPTED A $2,625 GRANT FROM THE NORTHWEST MINNESOTA ARTS COUNCIL FOR HELP IN HOSTING THE ROSEAU GAZEBO CONCERT SERIES.
NEW POLICY AT U OF M CROOKSTON WILL ALLOW OF-AGE STUDENTS TO DRINK ON CAMPUS AFTER COMPLETING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM SHORTLY BEFORE THEY TURN 21, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AIMED AT FOSTERING “A HEALTHY AND RESPONSIBLE CULTURE OF DRINKING IN ON-CAMPUS RESIDENCE HALLS AMONG STUDENTS OF A LEGAL AGE”. SCHOOL OFFICIALS ESTIMATE THAT THERE ARE FEWER THAN 50 STUDENTS WHO ARE 21 OR OLDER THAT STILL LIVE IN THE RESIDENCE HALLS THAT COULD BE PART OF THE PROGRAM.

HE SAID THAT FANS BACK AT TARGET FIELD FOR THE TWINS HOME OPENER WAS A SURE SIGN THAT WE ARE WORKING TOWARDS AND END TO THIS PANDEMIC.

NEW ROSEAU PARKS AND REC DIRECTOR KEITH SEVERSON SAYS HE’S PLANNING AN APRIL 22ND VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY CLEANUP EFFORT AT THE ROSEAU CITY PARK AND THAT SUMMER CAMP SIGNUP WILL BEGIN APRIL 12TH.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR BERTHA H. ERICKSON OF BAUDETTE WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, APRIL 10TH (10 AM) AT FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH IN BAUDETTE. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CHURCH. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD AT HOPE CEMETERY IN ROSEAU AT A LATER DATE. BERTHA ERICKSON WAS 88.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD FRIDAY (5-7) AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU WITH A PRAYER SERVICE AT 7:00. VISITATION WILL ALSO BE ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CHURCH. INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT MOE-ROSE CEMETERY IN ROSEAU.
