A WAYWARD WHITE TAIL DEER CRASHED THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE ROSEAU SCHOOL NURSES OFFICE YESTERDAY, MAKING IT’S WAY DOWN THE HALL WAY AND EVENTUALLY OUT THE NORTH DOOR OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. TWO STAFF MEMBERS AND A STUDENT WERE IN THE NURSE’S OFFICE AT THE TIME. ASIDE FROM A COUPLE OF SCRATCHES, NO INJURIES OCCURRED.
IT WILL BE HOT AND DRY ACROSS THE REGION THIS WEEKEND, AND TODAY ALSO WINDY. WE’LL HAVE A RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH TODAY, AND TEMPERATURES COULD REACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES. LIFECARE PUBLIC HEALTH WILL OFFER A COVID VACCINATION CLINIC FOR THOSE 12 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER ON WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK FROM 2:00-6:00. THE DRIVE-THRU CLNIC AT LIFECARE PUBLIC HEALTH WILL OFFER THE PFIZER VACCINE AND IS FOCUSING ON HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, BUT IS OPEN TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT VACCINATED.
SAM KAVANAUGH RECENTLY CLAIMED THE ULTIMATE “JEOPARDY!” VICTORY WHEN HE TOOK HOME FIRST PLACE ON THE GAME SHOW’S “TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS.” THE 30-YEAR OLD KAVANAUGH IS A NATIVE OF CARLTON, MINNESOTA. HE WORKS AS A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER IN MINNEAPOLIS. HE TOOK HOME A PRIZE OF 250,000 DOLLARS.
