A Memorial service for James P. Cratty of Warroad, MN will be held on Friday, March 18, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 4-5PM on Friday, March 18, 2021 at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad.
James passed away at the age of 61.
James Paul Cratty passed away March 9, 2022 at the age of 61 after a short battle with cancer.
James was born August 10, 1960 in Oregon, IL and was adopted at 9 days old by his loving parents, James and Myrna Cratty.
JC grew up in Polo, IL and graduated from high school in 1978. He moved to Warroad to work at Marvin Windows in the maintenance department. He met Camille (Heeler) Hogenson in 1988 and to this union they had two children.
JC worked at Polaris for a number of years and was currently employed at 7 Clans Casino.
Jim enjoyed four wheeling, watching the Cubs and Bears and WWE with his grandchildren. He was a loving, kind, hardworking, and humorous man and will be greatly missed.
James is survived by his mother Myrna (Crooks) Cratty; sister Tracy Cratty, daughter Jamie Cratty; son Tyler Cratty; step-son Anthony Cali; grandchildren Jaxon Blomberg, Carson Blomberg, Austin Blomberg, Olivia Cratty; and his best friend Todd Scharfenkamp.
He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Cratty and grandparents, Paul and Mary Crooks, Jay and Olivia Cratty.
