AGCO CORPORATION HAS NAMED LEE PEMBERTON THEIR 2023 OPERATOR OF THE YEAR. HE IS FROM HALLOCK. AGCO IS A GLOBAL LEADER IN THE DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, AND DISTRIBUTION OF MACHINERY AND PRECISION AG TECHNOLOGY.
NORTHWEST MINNESOTA FINALLY GOT SOME SNOW COVER LAST WEEK, BUT MUCH OF THE STATE IS NOW LOOKING AT AN INCREASED THREAT OF WILDFIRES DUE TO DRY, EXPOSED GRASS AND VEGETATION. EVEN WITH OUR SNOW, THEY SAY A CONTINUOUS BLANKET OF 3 INCHES OF SNOWFALL IS DESIRED TO LIMIT THE WILDFIRE RISK.
TODAY, THE ROSEAU LOWER ELEMENTARY HAS THEIR HOLIDAY MUSICAL PERFORMANCES AT 10:00 AND 2:00 IN THE ROSEAU SCHOOL THEATER.

Minnesota’s DFL and Republican parties on Wednesday, Dec. 13, submitted names of candidates for the state’s presidential primary ballots.
Both parties include frontrunners along with lesser-known candidates. Party leaders had to submit names to the Secretary of State’s Office to be included on presidential primary ballot.
Minnesota voters will weigh in on March 5 in the primary contests but early voting starts on Jan. 19
A Funeral Service for Judy A. Espe will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau at 11:00am with a visitation an hour prior. A Visitation will also be held the night before at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau from 5:00-7:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Interment will be held at Palmville Cemetery.
