A Funeral Service for Connie Robinson will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau at 6:00pm with a visitation an hour prior.
Connie Mae Robinson passed away on June 12, 2024 at the Warroad Senior Living Center at the age of 82 years.
Connie Mae (Legried) Robinson, daughter of Harry and Ila Mae (Ramsey) Legried was born on May 11, 1942 in Fort Benton, Montana.
On June 19, 1960 Connie married Kenneth Harry Robinson Sr. They lived in Fort Benton until 1970 when they moved to Roseau, MN and to Warroad, MN in 1976, where she lived until going in to the nursing home.
She was a charter member of the Lake of the Woods Steam and Gas Show in Roosevelt, MN. She held many jobs over the years, as a production worker for Marvin Windows, working in the bakery for Doug’s Supermarket, and cooking for Senior Meals in Warroad.
She worked for the Warroad Senior Living Center as an Activity Volunteer calling bingo. She made many friends over the years and enjoyed every laugh they provided.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta Rian and Timothy Kuhn of Harvey, ND and two sons, Kenneth Robinson Jr. and Meg Wrobel of Roseau and Wayne and Sarah Robinson of Warroad; seven grandchildren, Vernon Bue of Warroad, Johnathan and Corinna Bue of Rainy River, ON, Bryanna Bue and Anthony Garcia of Roseau, Leon and Kristina Robinson of Fontana, CA, McKenna Butler and Mason Aaserud of Maple Lake, MN, Aidan and Sophia Hume of Roseau, Brandon Whitaker of Rapid City, SD, and Kayla Whitaker of Rapid City; seven great-grandchildren, Riley, Eli and Dominick Whitaker of Fargo, ND, Erika Hull of Williams, MN, Carter and Maverik Bue, Rainy River, Annette Buschel of Warroad, and lots of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, three brothers and their wives, along with several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nephews and great nephews.
Interment will be at Hope cemetery in Roseau next to her husband at a later date.
