THERE IS A NEW LAW THAT GOES INTO EFFECT TOMORROW, CLARIFYING VEHICLE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEMS AND WHO SHOULD BE WEARING THEM AND HOW. IT CLARIFIES AT WHAT AGES A CHILD SHOULD BE REAR-FACING, FRONT-FACING, ON A BOOSTER, OR PASSING A FIVE-STEP CLEARANCE FOR REGULAR LAP AND SHOULDER BELTS. IT ALSO NOTES THAT A CHILD YOUNGER THAN 13 NEEDS TO RIDE IN THE REAR SEAT IF POSSIBLE.

THE MINNESOTA DNR HAS SCHEDULED TWO PUBLIC ONLINE AUCTIONS THAT WILL CLEAR OUT CONFISCATED FISHING AND HUNTING EQUIPMENT.
