THE LAKES COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE MEAT PROCESSING PLANT IN PERHAM WILL BE EXPANDING. STATE LEADERS ANNOUNCED A $530,000 GRANT WILL ALLOW THEM TO DOUBLE THEIR CAPACITY.
THE AMERICAN RED CROSS IS CONTINUING TO PUT THE FOCUS ON THE NEED FOR BLOOD. THEY SAY THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF ALL BLOOD TYPES, BUT RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY TYPE O. STATS SHOW THAT ONLY ABOUT 3% OF AMERICANS MAKE IT A THING TO DONATE BLOOD REGULARLY.
