SENIORS ANNIE PANKOWSKI AND SOPHIA SHAVER SCORED, AND GOALIE KRISTEN CAMPBELL EARNED HER 11TH SHUTOUT OF THE SEASON, AS WISCONSIN BEAT MINNESOTA 2-0 FOR THE N.C.A.A. WOMENS HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP. ROSEAU’S TIANNA GUNDERSON PLAYED HER LAST GAME FOR THE GOPHERS.
ST CLOUD STATE IS THE TOP OVERALL SEED FOR THE N.C.A.A. MENS HOCKEY TOURNAMENT. THE HUSKIES PLAY AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL IN THE WEST REGIONAL. ROSEAU’S NICK OLIVER IS AN ASSISTANT COACH FOR THE HUSKIES. DENVER AND OHIO STATE ARE ALSO IN THE WEST REGIONAL (IN FARGO).
MINNESOTA/DULUTH IS THE NUMBER ONE SEED IN THE MIDWEST REGIONAL; MINNESOTA STATE/MANKATO HEADS THE EAST REGIONAL; AND MASSACHUSETTS IS THE TOP SEED IN THE NORTHEAST.
