A Memorial Service for Wendy Geisenhof will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Warroad Senior Living Center Chapel. Wendy passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the age of 61.
Wendy (Story) Geisenhof, age 61, of Williams, MN passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Roseau hospital. Wendy was born on June 15, 1958 to Lester and Doris Story of Williams. Wendy grew up in Williams and attended school in Warroad, MN.
She married the love of her life, Wallace (Wally) Geisenhof, on August 25, 1976 in Williams. Together they started their life living in Williams. In 1978 they had a beautiful baby girl named Tammy. She was their everything. Wendy enjoyed many things in her life – her family being the most important of all to her. She enjoyed cooking, reading a good book, watching movies, shopping, her puppies, and spending time with her family.
When she and Wally were younger she loved traveling to Arkansas and Montana to visit with her siblings who lived there and to see her nieces and nephews – until they all finally moved home to Minnesota. Wendy ran a small video/grocery store in the Williams community center with her mother, Doris Story, for several years. She also had a booth at the Roosevelt Flee market and Threshing Bee for many years. She truly loved to do that stuff with her mom and dad. Wendy was an incredible wife, daughter, mother, sister, auntie, and friend. She will be forever missed by everyone.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband, Wallace (Wally) Geisenhof, of Williams; her siblings Rodger (Rachel) Story of Salol, MN, Robin (Doug) Levecesque of Warroad, Julie Legreid of Salol, Rodney Story, Erinie Story, and Archie Story of Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her baby girl, Tammy Geisenhof; parents Doris and Lester Story; parents-in-law Ester and Louie Geisenhof; brother Chester Story; brothers-in-law Larry Legreid, Walter Geisenhof; grandparents Archie and Beulah Friesner, grandparents Albert and Yvonne Story; nephews James Story, Jordan Story, William Walston (Story), Bryan Lundgren; niece Yvonne Story; several aunts and uncles.
