A Memorial service for Wayne Jarshaw will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Wayne Elvin Jarshaw passed away on June 1, 2020 at Port Orchard, WA at the age of 71.
Wayne was born on June 18, 1948 in Thief River Falls, MN to Henry and Lupe (Miranontes) Jarshaw. He attended school in Thief River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1966. He worked at Arctic Cat Snowmobiles in Thief River Falls for over ten years as a quality control inspector. After moving to Warroad, MN he worked at Marvin Windows and Doors for 35 years in various departments in the production plant. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Warroad.
Wayne was a drummer in the bands Foolish Pleasure, The Night Riders and various other bands in between. He had a great love and passion for classic and muscle cars and car shows. He enjoyed hockey, football, and baseball and especially loved playing pool on various leagues and tournaments. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors or in the garage / shop working on old muscle cars, snowmobiling and fourwheeling. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his children Wayne II (Karen) Jarshaw, Nichole Jarshaw, Murray (Ann) Jarshaw and Lisa Jarshaw (Bryan Fitzpatrick); grandchildren Sofia, Josiah, Colton, JoHanna, Theopholus; sisters Doreen, Helen, Sharon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lupe Jarshaw; brother Henry Hastad, Jr; sister Deloryce Romero.
