A memorial event for Anthony A. Grengs of Roseau, MN, will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at
4 P.M. at Gene’s Bar and Grill in Roseau, MN.
Anthony “Tony” Arvey Grengs, 39, unexpectedly passed away on March 13th, 2025, in Roseau, MN.
Tony was born on September 6th, 1985, as the firstborn child to Bruce and Jackie Grengs (Bjerk). He was raised
in Salol, MN, until his mother’s passing in 1999. After her passing, the family moved to Badger, MN,
where Tony attended high school.
In 2004, he met Kayla Berg, and they were married in 2011. Together, they welcomed five children.
Tony was employed at both Polaris and BB Diversified Services. He had a natural talent for welding, a
skill he took great pride in both at work and at home.
Outside of work, Tony had many passions and interests. He excelled at anything that captured his
attention. He enjoyed, and was good at; playing guitar, cooking, camping, fishing, hunting, shooting, and
countless other things. More than anything though, he loved spending time with his family and friends
around a good fire. Gathering as many people as possible for these events was always important to him.
Tony was a kind and forgiving person who loved sharing his knowledge and skills with anyone eager to
learn. He will be deeply missed forever by all who knew him. His family and close friends invite you to
enjoy our short time here with all those close to you in his remembrance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Jackie; his beloved brother, Ben; and his cousin,
Dakota. He is survived by Kayla Grengs and their children: Mykenna, Serenity, Colten, Ryker, and Lincoln.
He is also survived by his brother, Andy Grengs, and his sister, Amber Grengs (Ben).
