Ram Boys Basketball takes home a long awaited post-season win at home tonight against Thief River Falls. The Rams and Prowlers started off fast in the first half and both teams were showing some post season nerves. Roseau hit their stride with around 9 minutes left in the first half, taking a 13 point lead into halftime. With some great team play and strong defensive play the Rams forced an incredible amount of turnovers from the Prowlers. Roseau held that momentum through the second half, comfortably playing out their bench in the last few minutes and finishing with a 77-52 lead. Top Scorers for Roseau were: Jack Hirst with 21, Nathan O’Connor 16, Jeremy Bender 15.
8AA Boys Basketball Playoff Opener Final Score: Roseau-77, Thief River Falls- 52. Rams Advance to the 8AA quarterfinal games, taking on Perham at 2:45PM Saturday afternoon at Concordia in Moorhead.
