A Funeral Service for Brooke J. Marvin of Warroad, MN will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Warroad Baptist Church in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, June 30, 2022 starting at 12PM with a time of sharing at 1:00PM. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Warroad, MN.
Brooke Jomar Marvin passed away on June 23, 2022 at her home in Warroad, MN.
Brooke was born September 16, 1979, in Park Rapids, MN. Her early life in Osage, MN, was spent beside Straight Lake near her grandparents, showered with their constant affection. Life eventually brought her mom and younger brother back to Warroad, where the children were later adopted. Brooke spent the remainder of her childhood here until graduation from high school. She soon found delight in cooking, crafting, and being an Auntie.
Brooke then continued her schooling between Northland Community and Technical College, Richfield Campus-Globe, Scot-Lewis School of Cosmetology, and Normandale Community College. Life later brought Brooke back to Warroad, where she birthed three beautiful children who became her life’s greatest joy. She will be remembered for her contagious, goofy laugh that could light up any room..
Brooke was preceded in death by her great grandmother Anna Smith, grandfather Donald Horner, grandparents Bill and Margaret Marvin, grandmother Mary Peterson, birth father Steven Anonen, and sister Allison Marvin.
She is survived by her beloved children, Maci Marvin-Nichols, Tyler Marvin-Nichols, and Annabelle Marvin, grandmother JoAnne Horner, grandfather Gayle (Pete) Peterson, parents Jake Marvin and Katherine Marvin, siblings John, Mark, James, and Desiree, and many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins.
