It is with profound sadness that we announce Cam Eugene Knutson, passed peacefully at his home in Greenbush, Minnesota, on July 19, 2024, at the age of 28.

Cam Knutson was born on December 24, 1995, to Barb and Scott Knutson. Cam was a beloved son, brother, partner, and father who touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. He was known for his infectious smile, his love of hunting, fishing, sports, and other outdoor activities.

Cam was gifted in so many areas of life. Although he battled with addiction for many years, he had a compassionate heart, and a zest for life that was evident to all who knew him. Cam had a remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter into any room and was always ready to play a prank on his dad. His passion for adventure and exploration was unmatched.

Cam is survived by his loving parents, Scott and Barb, the devoted love of his life, Angelina Korb, his cherished daughters, Temple and Synnova (Small Baby), his brother Kip and wife Karly, two amazing grandmothers, Donna Knutson and Barb Umhauer, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene Knutson and Ronald Umhauer.

Cam’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life. He leaves behind a family who will forever hold his memory close and numerous friends who were like family to him.

A celebration of Cam’s life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad, on Saturday July 27th, at 4 pm. Cam’s visitation will be on Friday, July 26th from 5 to 7pm with a prayer service at 6pm.  We would like our family and friends to  know that we have donated Cam’s brain, blood, and tissue for drug and alcohol addiction research.

Cam Eugene Knutson will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
