Christine “Chris” Marie Nieman passed away November 19, 2024, at Roseau Manor in Roseau, MN after her fight with metastatic breast cancer at the age of 74.
Chris Nieman was born on September 17, 1950, in Minneapolis, MN to Abe and Dorothy (Hunt) Lewis. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1968.
On June 15, 1968, Chris married Allen Nieman. They were married for 54 years. Together they had two children, Danielle and Rex.
They lived in Isanti, MN where Chris worked at Ault Inc for 15 years. In 1993 they moved to Warroad, MN where she worked at the Cam Am Hotel as a housekeeper for 10 years. Then went to Marvin Windows and Door until she retired in 2012. She was enjoying her retirement.
Chris enjoyed camping with her family and going to her grandchildren’s sporting and school events. Chris loved to read. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Branson, MO, Phoenix, AZ and Yellowstone, MT. Chris loved anything with Eagles and her favorite color was blue.
Chris is survived by Son; Rex (Brenda) Nieman Grandchildren; Alex, Austin (Madison), Dillon Nieman and Tavi Watson. Brothers; Ron (Debbie) Lewis, Mick (Annette) Lewis, Booner (Cindy) Lewis Sister; Connie Koehnke.
Chris is preceded in death by her husband Allen, parents Abe and Dorothy, Daughter Danielle, Granddaughter Caroline, Sister Kim, Father and Mother In-Law Clarence and Caroline.
Celebration of Chris’s Life will be Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Warroad Area Community Center in Warroad from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
