A graveside service for Joyce L. Davis of Warroad, MN will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 10:00AM at Riverside Cemetery in Warroad, MN.
Joyce Luanne Davis was born on October 16, 1941 in Muskegon, MI to Mont and Maryanne (Kundrata) Davis. She married Roger Nugent in 1963 and the couple had three children. Joyce was a very kind and loving stay at home mom and was devoted to raising her children. She also worked a little on the side with ironings and washings, she also nannied for a couple of families. She and Roger went their separate ways and Joyce met Jim at an aviation school in TX in 1987, they married in 1997 and made their home in Warroad, MN in 1999. Joyce started a cleaning company called personal touch. Joyce had many passions in life, she loved to fly, run marathons, fishing, crocheting and watching movies. She especially had a soft spot in her heart for her German Sheperds. Joyce had a very strong faith and loved serving the Lord.
She is survived by her children, Paul Nugent, Chris Nugent; grandchildren, Felicia Schneider, Andrew Nugent, Christopher (Iza Dias) Nugent, Ted Nugent; great-grandchildren, Mont Brown, Clarice Nugent; siblings, Duane Davis, Marijo (Curt) Davis-Everroad, Denise (Charlie) Davis, Paula Paauwe.
Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Phil Nugent
