LIFECARE PUBLIC HEALTH ANNOUNCED EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING THAT THEY WOULD BEGIN TAKING APPOINTMENTS FOR COVID-19 VACCINES FOR THOSE 65 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER, FOR A CLINIC ON JANUARY 26TH. THEY NOTED THEY HAD ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF VACCINES AVAILABLE, AND THOSE WERE ALL ACCOUNTED FOR WITHIN JUST A COUPLE OF HOURS. THEY REASSURE THE PUBLIC THAT EVERYONE WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY AT THE VACCINE, BUT THAT PACE IS DETERMINED BY STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES.
THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH HAS UNVEILED A COMMUNITY COVID VACCINE PROGRAM IN NINE LOCATIONS AROUND THE STATE, INCLUDING A PILOT SITE IN THIEF RIVER FALLS FOR PEOPLE SIXTY-FIVE YEARS AND OLDER; TEACHERS AND SCHOOL STAFF; AND STAFF WORKING AT LICENSED AND CERTIFIED CHILD CARE PROGRAMS.
