BEGINNING MARCH 15TH, BARS AND RESTAURANTS CAN INCREASE TO 75% CAPACITY, THEATERS AND OTHER ENTERTAINMENT VENUES, AND GYMS TO 50%, BOTH STILL WITH A TOTAL 250 LIMIT. LARGER OUTDOOR VENUES COULD POTENTIALLY SEE AS MANY AS TEN THOUSAND PEOPLE ALLOWED, LARGER INDOOR VENUES WITH POTENTIALLY AS MANY AS THREE THOUSAND.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR EMERSON MICHAL WILL BE HELD THIS FRIDAY AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME IN ROSEAU, WITH VISITATION FROM 11:00-1:00, WITH A FUNERAL SERVICE AT 1:00 ALSO AT HELGESON FUNERAL HOME. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT SPRUCE CEMETERY.
ROSEAU AND KITTSON COUNTIES ARE SENDING A LETTER TO MINNESOTA’S CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION ASKING FOR MORE THAN THIRTEEN MILLION FEDERAL DOLLARS TO BUILD COUNTY ROAD SEVEN (IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF ROSEAU COUNTY). THAT ROAD IS PRONE TO FLOODING, AND IS OFTEN IMPASSABLE.
THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD WILL RE-OPEN COUNTY BUILDINGS (INCLUDING THE COURTHOUSE, SOCIAL SERVICES BUILDING AND HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT STARTING MARCH 15TH. THOSE BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, DUE TO COVID-19, SINCE NOVEMBER.
