FARMERS IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE DRY CONDITIONS TO GET THEIR PLANTING DONE EARLIER THAN NORMAL, AND SIGNIFICANTLY EARLIER THAN A YEAR AGO. EFFECTIVE TODAY IS AN ELIMINATION ON OUTDOOR CAPACITY LIMITS AND MASK REQUIREMENT EXCEPT AT LARGE VENUES, AND ALSO ELIMINATES THE EARLIER CLOSING TIME FOR BARS AND RESTAURANTS.
ON MAY 28TH, ALL CAPACITY LIMITS WILL GO AWAY, WITH A MASKS STILL NEEDED AT LARGE VENUES.
THE THIRD AND FINAL STEP IS EITHER A 70 PERCENT VACCINATION RATE IN THE STATE, OR JULY 1, WHICHEVER ARRIVES FIRST. AT THAT POINT THE MASK MANDATE ENDS, AND LOCAL JURISDICTIONS CAN SET THEIR OWN POLICIES.
