WITH CITIES AND COUNTIES CURRENTLY NAVIGATING WHAT 2025 WILL LOOK LIKE WHEN IT COMES TO REGULATING CANNABIS BUSINESSES, REPORTS SAY THE CITY OF CROOKSTON IS CONSIDERING OPERATING A MUNICIPAL CANNABIS STORE, WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GARNER EXTRA SALES TAX REVENUE. THEY WOULD COLLECT 8% OF WHAT THE STATE COLLECTS. SHOULD THE CITY DECIDE TO GO FORWARD, THEY WOULD NEED TO SUBMIT A BUSINESS PLAN AND SET ASIDE UP TO $3 MILLION DOLLARS FOR SET-UP COSTS.
PREDICTIONS FOR THE COMING DEER SEASON VARY BY REGION.
