IT’S BEING ORGANIZED BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER MET THE FAMILY, BUT HAVE HEARD HIS STORY. ONE ORGANIZER SAYS HE WAS SICK A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO, AND WILL NEVER FORGET THE IMPACT THAT BENEFIT IN HIS NAME HAD ON HIS RECOVERY.

THOSE NURSES ARE AT 16 HOSPITALS IN THE TWIN PORTS AND TWIN CITIES, AND TOTAL AROUND 15,000. THE NURSES MAIN ISSUE IS THE PATIENT CARE AND SAFETY THAT UNDERSTAFFING CAUSES. HOSPITALS ARE CALLING THE STRIKE UNLAWFUL AND WILL FILE A CHARGE WITH THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD.
In yet another sign of fall, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources on Thursday released its first weekly Waterfowl Migration Report of the season. Minnesota’s September Canada goose season opens Saturday, Sept. 3, and continues through Sunday, Sept. 18. The experimental teal season also opens Saturday and closes Wednesday, Sept. 7.
Minnesota’s Youth Waterfowl Hunt is Sept. 10-11, and the regular waterfowl season opens Saturday, Sept. 24.
