IF YOU ARE AN ELIGIBLE VOTER THAT IS NOT REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 15, OR IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE YOUR BALLOT SENT TO A TEMPORARY ADDRESS PLEASE CONTACT THE ROSEAU COUNTY AUDITORS OFFICE. THE BALLOTS ARE ALSO NON-FORWARDABLE, WHICH MEANS IF YOUR ADDRESS IS DIFFERENT THAN FROM WHEN YOU REGISTERED, YOU’LL NEED TO CONTACT THEM AS WELL.

HE TAKES OVER FOR ROSEAU ALUM JAKE BRANDT, WHO HAS STEPPED AWAY TO FOCUS ON HIS BRAINERD AREA INSURANCE BUSINESS.
THE AMERICAN RED CROSS IS CONTINUING TO PUT THE FOCUS ON THE NEED FOR BLOOD. THEY SAY THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF ALL BLOOD TYPES, BUT RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY TYPE O. STATS SHOW THAT ONLY ABOUT 3% OF AMERICANS MAKE IT A THING TO DONATE BLOOD REGULARLY.

Governor Tim Walz today announced over $6 million in new grants to expand access to child care for working families throughout Minnesota. The new grants follow record funding announced in May, and are expected to create thousands of new child care slots. The Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) will accept proposals for Child Care Economic Development grants through Oct. 31.
