ON SATURDAY, A 24-YEAR OLD MAN WAS PULLED BY CITIZENS FROM LITTLE DETROIT LAKE AFTER GOING UNDER WATER WHILE SWIMMING. RESCUE CREWS ARRIVED JUST MOMENTS LATER. THE MAN WAS TRANSPORTED TO A FARGO HOSPITAL. HIS CONDITION WAS UNKNOWN FOR ABOUT 24 HOURS. LAST NIGHT, VALLEY NEWS LIVE HAD REPORTED THAT HE DID EVENTUALLY DIE FROM THE INCIDENT.

ON JULY 8, ROAD WORK ON HIGHWAY 89 NEAR GRYGLA WILL COMMENCE. THE WORK WILL BE DONE BETWEEN HIGHWAY 89 FROM GRYGLA TO THE RED LAKE NATION BOUNDARY. A DETROUR WILL USE MARHSALL COUNTY ROAD 54 AND HIGHWAY 1. THERE WILL ALSO BE CULVERT REPLACEMENTS AND SIDEWALK UPGRADES IN GRYGLA.
