THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD,  THIS WEEK,  APPROVED THE  COURTHOUSE AS THE ELECTION  POLLING PLACE FOR  UNORGANIZED TOWNSHIPS.

THAT RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED EARLIER THAN NORMAL BECAUSE OF NEXT YEAR’S PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY.

 

THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL,  THIS WEEK,  HEARD THAT THE CENTER ICE CLUB IS OFFERING A DONATION OF FLOORING FOR THE UPSTAIRS AT MEMORIAL ARENA.

THAT FLOORING REPLACEMENT COULD BE DONE THIS WINTER.

 

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR ANNETTE BERGSNEV  OF GREENBUSH IS THIS MORNING AT ELEVEN  AT OILAND LUTHERAN CHURCH IN RURAL GREENBUSH.

ANNETTE BERGSNEV WAS  80.

 

THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD,  LAST WEEK,  APPROVED  PURSUING PLANS FOR A COURTHOUSE RENOVATION PROJECT;   DRIVEN BY A NEED FOR ADDITIONAL  INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPACE.

THE BOARD ALSO APPROVED DEMOLITION OF THE JAIL AT THE FORMER LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER,  AND MINOR REHABILITATION OF THAT BUILDING;  WHICH HOUSES THE ROSEAU FOOD SHELF.

 

THE GREENBUSH/BADGER LIONS CLUB HAS THEIR  35TH ANNUAL FUN NIGHT SUPPER TOMORROW EVENING  (6-8 PM)  AT THE GREENBUSH FIRE HALL.

 

LIFECARE PUBLIC HEALTH HAS A FLU VACCINE CLINIC THIS AFTERNOON  ( 3:15 – 6  P.M. )  AT THE ROSEAU SCHOOL COMMONS.
