THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD MET ON TUESDAY, AND PART OF THAT AGENDA WAS TO ACCEPT THE RESIGNATION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CO-DIRECTOR DAN DAVIDSON AND TO APPROVE ADVERTISEMENTS TO HIRE FOR THAT POSITION.
IN MINUTES FROM A JULY 9 MEETING, AFTER DISCUSSION, THE BOARD DECIDED AGAINST A REQUEST FROM DEWEY TOWNSHIP TO HAVE ADDITIONAL GRAVEL PUT DOWN TO HELP IN REPAIRING DAMAGE DONE DURING A COUNTY ROAD 23 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
A Memorial Service for Greg Gilbert of Warroad will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad at 2:00 pm with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery.
A celebration of Cam E. Knutson’s life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad, on Saturday July 27th, at 4 pm. Cam’s visitation will be on Friday, July 26th from 5 to 7pm with a prayer service at 6pm at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN.
Cam passed away at the age of 28.
A memorial service for David W. Hollrah of Warroad, MN will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2:00PM at the Warroad Baptist Church in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at America Cemetery in Warroad, MN.
David passed away at the age of 66.
THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND STATE PATROL ARE REMINDING MOTORISTS OR GUIDELINES FOR PARKING ON HIGHWAY 59 PRIOR TO WE FEST. VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN PARKED ON THE SHOULDER BEGINNING AT NOON ON MONDAY, BUT THOSE MOTORISTS MUST REMAIN IN THE VEHICLE AND ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SET UP CHAIRS, CAMPS, GRILLS, ETC.
THERE IS ALSO SERIOUS ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON HIGHWAY 59 IN PELICAN RAPIDS.
