THE NORTHWEST MINNESOTA FOUNDATION IS ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS UP TO FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM THEIR EMERGENCY DISASTER RECOVERY FUND.

NONPROFIT GROUPS THAT WORK WITH THE HOMELESS IN MINNESOTA SAY THEY ARE FACING GROWING CHALLENGES EVERY DAY. IN OLMSTED COUNTY, PART OF ROCHESTER’S MAYO CIVIC CENTER IS BEING USED TO HOUSE PEOPLE.
RHONDA OTTESON, WITH THE MINNESOTA COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS, SAYS MORE RENTAL ASSISTANCE FUNDING WOULD PREVENT MORE PEOPLE FROM NEEDING SHELTERS.
TOMORROW IS CENSUS DAY IN THE UNITED STATES.
