REPRESENTATIVE MICHELLE FISHBACH ALONG WITH SENATORS AMY KLOBUCHAR AND TINA SMITH, HAVE ALL JOINED A DELEGATION IN REQUESTING AID FOR FARMERS IMPACTED BY STORMS THIS SPRING HARVEST SEASON. THE MOST RECENT NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS SERVICE CROP REPORT FOR MINNESOTA INDICATED THAT COMPLETED PLANTINGS FOR CORN, SOYBEANS, WHEAT AND SUGAR BEETS ARE ALL LAGGING SIGNIFICANTLY BEHIND LAST YEAR AND THE 5-YEAR AVERAGE.
BALLOTS FOR STATEWIDE ELECTIONS FOR TOWNSHIPS IN ROSEAU COUNTY THAT HAVE ELECTED TO VOTE BY MAIL WILL BE MAILED TO REGISTERED VOTERS IN THOSE TOWNSHIPS BEGINNING JUNE 24 FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTIONS AND SEPTEMBER 23 FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION.
THE ROSEAU COUNTY MUSEUM AND PUBLIC LIBRARY WILL HAVE A SUMMER KICK-OFF PARTY OF JUNE 7 AT 1 PM, FEATURING THE MAGIC VILLAGE SHOW, WITH MAGIC, COMEDY, AND ESCAPE ACTS. IT’S FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. IT’S ALSO A CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR THE LIBRARY’S SUMMER READING PROGRAM.
THE MUSEUM WILL ALSO BE HOSTING SUMMER EXPLORERS CRAFT CLASSES ON THURSDAYS FROM JUNE 16-JULY 14.
A WARROAD COMMUNITY VETERANS DAY PROGRAM WILL BE HELD AT GARDEN’S ARENA AT 10:00 AM ON MEMORIAL DAY. A SHORT CEREMONY WILL FOLLOW AT VETERAN’S MEMORIAL AND ON THE HIGHWAY 11 BRIDGE.
A ROSEAU MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE WILL BEGIN AT 9:00 AM AT CITIZEN’S STATE BANK; A BADGER PROGRAM WILL BEGIN AT 10:00 FIRST AT THE BADGER CREEK BRIDGE.
THE ROSEAU RAMS GIRLS GOLF PROGRAM IS HOSTING A LASAGNA DINNER AT OAKCREST GOLF COURSE THIS EVENING FROM 5:00-7:00. THAT’S A FREEWILL OFFERING.
