THE ALLISON PARK SUMMER SERIES IN WARROAD RETURNS FRIDAY AFTER A COUPLE WEEK BREAK. THEY’LL HAVE MUSIC FROM THE LUBBEN BROTHERS AT 6:30 AND SHOW AN OUTDOOR MOVIE, “RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON” AT DUSK. THERE ARE YELLOW ROSE COMMUNITY DAY EVENTS AT THE HAMPTON INN, AND THE YELLOW ROSE 5K/10K ON SATURDAY.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR HELEN CURTIS OF BAUDETTE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY (2 PM) AT FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH IN BAUDETEE, WITH VISITATION ONE HOUR PRIOR. HELEN CURTIS HAD PASSED AWAY IN NOVEMBER AT AGE 92.
THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD WILL HOLD THEIR REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING ON MONDAY.
THE EARL’S GIRLS AT EARL’S DRIVE IN HAVE A RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER THROUGH THE DAY, SERVING LEMONADE AND HOMEMADE TREATS. THEY ARE ALSO DONATING ALL TIPS FROM THE DAY TO RELAY FOR LIFE.
THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL APPROVED A SEVENTY-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR INVESTMENT IN CHRISTMAS LIGHTS FOR THE DOWNTOWN BUSINESS DISTRICT, CONTINGENT ON THE FEASIBILITY OF INSTALLATION OF THOSE LIGHTS. THE ROSEAU CIVIC AND COMMERCE ASSOCIATION WOULD ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COST.
