THERE WAS A FIRE AT A GRAIN ELEVATOR IN DONALDSON LAST FRIDAY WAS QUICKLY CONTAINED BY CREWS BUT DID STILL SUFFER EXTENSIVE DAMAGE AND THE ELEVATOR WAS HEAVILY COMPROMISED. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.
HEAVY WINDS BRING A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY INTO THE REGION, AND THE RED RIVER VALLEY INTO A WINTER STORM WATCH. BLIZZARD LIKE CONDITIONS WITH THE BLOWING SNOW COULD MAKE TRAVEL IN THE REGION TODAY AND TONIGHT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE.
A Funeral Service for Pam Baker of Baudette, MN will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2:00PM at the VFW in Baudette. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the VFW. Interment will take place at Elm Park Cemetery.
Pam passed away at the age of 67.
Celebration of Life for Chris Nieman of Warroad, MNN will be Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Warroad Area Community Center in Warroad from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
She passed away at the age of 74.
A Celebration of Life for Jack L. Lund of Roseau, MN will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00PM at Moe Lutheran Church in Roseau. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5-7PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau with a prayer service at 7. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Malung Cemetery. Jack passed away at the age of 81.
