THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL APPROVED THE HIRE OF KEITH SEVERSON AS PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR. THE CITY HAS BEEN WITHOUT A DIRECTOR SINCE LAST FALL. SEVERSON IS A ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, WHO HAS BEEN WORKING IN DULUTH.
THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD APPROVED ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR A HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE FACILITY, A COURTHOUSE COMPLEX GARAGE, A STORAGE FACILITY FOR THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT, AND FOR A RENOVATION PROJECT AT THE OLD LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER IN ROSEAU.
A FIREARMS SAFETY CLASS WILL BE OFFERED IN ROSEAU BEGINNING APRIL 12. CLASSES WILL BE HELD EACH MONDAY, TUESDAY, AND THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH APRIL 22 AT THE ROSEAU CITY CENTER. PRE-REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGH APRIL 5 AT COAST TRUE VALUE. STUDENTS MUST BE AT LEAST 11 YEARS OLD TO TAKE THE CLASS.
OFFICIALS SAY THAT 13.1 PERCENT OF MINNESOTA’S TOTAL POPULATION HAS COMPLETED THIER COVID-19 VACCINATION.
