KEVIN KUHLMAN, WITH THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT BUSINESS, SAYS SMALL BUSINESSES’ RESILIENCE IS VITAL FOR LONGTERM ECONOMIC HEALTH THERE ARE MORE THAN FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND SMALL BUSINESSES IN MINNESOTA; AND MORE THAN FIVE HUNDRED IN ROSEAU COUNTY.
THE PERSONAL FINANCE WEBSITE WalletHub HAS RELEASED IT’S RANKING OF THE BEST AND WORST COMMUNITY COLLEGES IN AMERICA. ALEXANDRIA TECH IS NUMBER EIGHT ON THE LIST, AND NORTHLAND COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE IS 58TH. THE WEBSITE SAYS WYOMING HAS THE BEST COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM IN THE U.S., WITH MINNESOTA 11TH AND NORTH DAKOTA 12TH. THE REPORT USED CRITERIA LIKE THE COST OF TUITION, THE STUDENT TO FACULTY RATIO AND THE SCHOOL’S GRADUATION RATE.

COUNTY ROAD SEVEN (NORTH OF GREENBUSH) WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN COUNTY ROADS 26 AND 10 TODAY, FOR WORK ON REPLACING A CENTERLINE CULVERT. IT’S EXPECTED THAT SEGMENT OF COUNTY ROAD SEVEN WILL BE RE-OPENED TOMORROW.
