MAIL BALLOTS ARE DUE BACK AT THE AUDITOR’S OFFICE BY ELECTION DAY NOVEMBER 3RD.
THE APPLICATION PERIOD TO BECOME A UNIVERSITY of MINNESOTA EXTENSION MASTER GARDENER IS TODAY. ROSEAU COUNTY IS ONE OF ABOUT FIFTEEN COUNTIES IN THE STATE THAT DON’T HAVE A MASTER GARDENER.
THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD HAS APPROVED BUDGETS AND LEVIES FOR THE UNORGANIZED TOWNSHIPS FOR 2021, WITH SLIGHT INCREASES IN SEVERAL OF THOSE UNORGANIZED TOWNSHIPS. THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD, IN SEPTEMBER, HEARD THAT ICE INSTALLATION IS PLANNED FOR MID-OCTOBER AT THE RAMS SPORTS CENTER.
THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL HAS APPROVED AN EXEMPT PERMIT FOR THE LOCAL CHAPTER OF THE MINNESOTA DEER HUNTERS ASSOCIATION TO HOLD AN OCTOBER 12TH RAFFLE. THERE WILL NOT BE A DEER HUNTERS BANQUET THIS YEAR AT THE CITY CENTER DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.

THE MINNESOTA STATE PATROL IS INVESTIGATING A FATAL CRASH YESTERDAY AFTERNOON ON HIGHWAY TWO, SOUTHEAST OF GRAND RAPIDS; WHERE A CHEVY TRAILBLAZER CROSSED OVER THE CENTER LINE AND HIT A JEEP CHEROKEE HEAD-ON. DRIVERS WERE A 24 YEAR OLD DULUTH WOMAN AND A 57 YEAR OLD GRAND RAPIDS WOMAN. THE CRASH HAPPENED JUST BEFORE FOUR P.M.

THE REPORT SAYS THERE ARE CURRENTLY 22 STAFFED I-C-U BEDS IN NORTH DAKOTA, AND NONE IN GRAND FORKS.
