HIGH SCHOOL TRACK – ROSEAU’S BOYS WERE 3RD, BEHIND EAST GRAND FORKS AND THIEF RIVER FALLS AT YESTERDAY’S QUENTIN JONES INVITATIONAL IN THIEF RIVER FALLS. RAMS’ WINNERS INCLUDED BEN OLSON IN THE 100 METER DASH; JACOB LINDEMANN IN THE DISCUS; JEREMIAH BENDER IN THE TRIPLE JUMP; AND JED DUNHAM AND ADAM LePARD WENT ONE-TWO IN THE HIGH JUMP. KYLE ERICKSON WAS 3RD IN THE 300 METER HURDLES.
ON THE GIRLS SIDE, RYLIE BJERKLIE WON THE HIGH JUMP, AND SOPHIE HELGESON WAS 2ND IN THE 100 METER DASH. WARROAD’S ELIANA BLEESS AND OLIVIA GOULET WERE 2ND AND 3RD IN THE 800 METER RUN, AND KALVIN KEOMANY WAS 3RD IN THE TRIPLE JUMP. FROM B-G-MR/FREEZE, WESTON BRING WAS 2ND IN THE POLE VAULT; AND ON THE GATOR GIRLS SIDE, LEO BRING WAS 3RD IN THE DISCUS, AND BROOKE OLSON RAN RUNNERUP IN THE 3200 METERS.
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL – VANCE KLEINSCHMIDT SCORED THREE RUNS, AND DROVE IN ANOTHER AS WARROAD OUT-SLUGGED ROSEAU 11-5. HUNTER PELLAND HAD TWO MORE RBI’S FOR THE WARRIORS; DANNY WENSLOFF SCORED A RUN AND DROVE IN TWO FOR THE RAMS.
