SYDNEY HUFNAGLE OF LAKE OF THE WOODS WAS THE GIRLS FIRST DAY LEADER AT 84; B-G-MR HAD AN 18 STROKE TEAM LEAD, AS KIANNA NOVACEK SHOT 88 FOR THE GATORS.
IN SECTION 8A TOURNAMENT BASEBALL, EAST GRAND FORKS SACRED HEART SHUT OUT B-G-MR 5-0; SACRED HEART PITCHER BRENDAN BETHKE STRUCK OUT 15 GATORS OVER SEVEN INNINGS.
B-G-MR, THE NUMBER ONE SEED, WAS THEN ELIMINATED IN A 10-4 LOSS TO NORMAN COUNTY EAST.
SECTION 8A SOFTBALL – BADGER-GREENBUSH-MIDDLE RIVER EDGED NORMAN COUNTY EAST 3-2 TO ADVANCE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND IN BAUDETTE. THE GATORS WILL PLAY EITHER RED LAKE FALLS or NORMAN COUNTY EAST TOMORROW.
