Roseau County has 31 Positive Cases; with 1 new cases reported today; 7 ACTIVE Cases; 24 having recovered.

The positive cases are the result of 14,299 tests, creating a daily positive test rate of 4.7%. The positive test rates for each reporting period over the past 12 days are:
- July 6: 7.6%
- July 7: 10.2%
- July 8: 5.9%
- July 9: 4.6%
- July 10: 2.96%
- July 11: 5.00%
- July 12: 5.5%
- July 13: 3.5%
- July 14: 5.2%
- July 15: 4.4%
- July 16: 4.1%
- July 17: 4.7%
The World Health Organization says that a 14-day positive test rate of below 5 percent is the key to keeping businesses open. Minnesota’s seven-day rolling average, as of Thursday, was 4.19%, according to Johns Hopkins University.
“If you go above 5% it indicates that you may be heading back into a phase of more rapid spread of the disease,” said MDH Commissioner Jan Malcolm.

- Confirmed cases: 45,013 (up from 44,347)
- Deaths: 1,533 (up from 1,526)
- Still hospitalized: 252 (up from 249)
- Patients in intensive care: 110 (up from 103)
- Patients no longer requiring isolation: 38,568 (up from 38,290)
