Your chance to be a part of the beautification of Warroad
Warroad, Minn. – September 28, 2020 – Warroad was blessed with a private donor that stepped forward to arrange for 24 beautiful flowerpots to be placed in downtown district and at the Warroad River bridge. This was a one-time gift. The community response was AMAZING! As the planters were placed around town, business owners offered to care for the flowers in pots next to their business, community members stepped up to care for others, and many made comments about how they brightened up the downtown.
The favorable response from the community and the need to fund this program for next year has led to the creation of Adopt a Flowerpot Program for 2021!
The program is simple. All you need to do is fill out a form, pledge $95, agree to take care of your flowerpot, and submit it by October 1, 2020. Arrangements have been made to deliver and place the flowerpots throughout the downtown area and other designated locations prior to or immediately after Memorial Day of 2021. You will be notified of your flowerpots location and it will be yours to nurture. All sponsors will receive recognition through social media at that time as well.
