Memorial services for Gertrude (Lorenz) Muggli of Baudette, MN, and formerly of Williams, MN, will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baudette, MN. Interment will be at a later date.
Gertrude Augusta (Lorenz) Muggli passed away December 9, 2020 at the LakeWood Care Center at the age of 80.
Gertrude Agusta Muggli was born in Jamestown, ND to Benedict and Dorothy Lorenz. She went to school in Willimas, MN and graduated in the class of 1957. On June 7, 1958 she married Edward “Tom” Muggli, she was a devoted wife and mother. Gertrude loved to read, craft, raising goats and making blood sausage.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister-inlaw, Janet Lorenz; son-inlaw, Richard “Dick” Clemmer
Gertrude is survived by her husband, Tom Muggli; children, Edward Jr. (Lisa) Muggli, Cindy (Harvey) Nichols, Reno (Joy) Muggli, Bonnie (Galen) Nelson, Rex (Sandy) Muggli, William “Bill” (Carly) Muggli, Cleo Clemmer; siblings, John Lorenz, Beverly (Mark) Thorsell, Emil (Linda) Lorenz, Margaret Brackney (David Winstrom).
