61-YEAR OLD DANNY LEE HAMILTON OF ROSEAU WAS GIVEN A 180 DAY JAIL SENTENCE ON A SECOND-DEGREE CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT CHARGE. A PLEA AGREEMENT WAS REACHED AFTER HE PLEADED GUILTY TO THE CHARGES SAYING HE MOLESTED A 15-YEAR OLD CHILD IN FEBRUARY.

THE ROSEAU COUNTY SHERIFF RELEASED INFORMATION ON AN ATTEMPTED SUICIDE BY AN INMATE IN THE JAIL. YESTERDAY AFTERNOON A 33-YEAR OLD MALE ATTEMPTED TO TAKE HIS OWN LIFE WITH THE USE OF A BED SHEET. THEY WERE TRANSPORTED TO LIFECARE MEDICAL CENTER FOR TREATMENT.

A Graveside service for Sharon A. Lane-Eckert will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00AM at Hope Cemetery in Roseau, MN. The family would like to invite all who attend to a lunch and time of fellowship held after the burial at the Roseau City Park.
Sharon passed away at the age of 76.
