34-YEAR OLD JOSEPH COLE WULFSON OF BROOKS, MINNESOTA PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO THREE CHARGES YESTERDAY, INCLUDING CHILD TORTURE. HE’S ACCUSED OF BEATING A 12-YEAR OLD CHILD IN JULY. THERE IS VIDEO OF WULFSON HEADBUTTING AND SHOVING THE CHILD FOR A PERIOD OF ABOUT TWO AND A HALF MINUTES. WHEN INTERVIEWED HE HAD TOLD LAW ENFORCEMENT HE WAS PUNISHING THE CHILD FOR LYING, AND ADMITTED IT WAS EXCESSIVE.

IT DID SO AFTER THE FATHER HAD LIT A CIGARETTE, NOT KNOWING IT HAD BEEN LEAKING INSIDE THE STORAGE UNIT.

AUTHORITIES ARE CONTINUING TO INVESTIGATE THE DEATH A MALE IN A HOUSE FIRE IN STRATHCONA ON MONDAY. THE CALL CAME IN AND CREWS RESPONDED AROUND 6:30 PM. THE NAME OF THE VICTIM AT THIS TIME IS BEING WITHHELD.

VOTER TURNOUT IN MINNESOTA IS LOOKING TO BE SLIGHTLY LOWER OVERALL THAN IT WAS IN 2020.
TIM WALZ IS EXPECTED TO BE BACK IN MINNESOTA AS HE WILL LEAVE BEHIND THE HARRIS/WALZ PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN. HE WAS LOOKING TO BECOME THE THIRD ELECTED OFFICIAL FROM MINNESOTA TO BECOME VICE PRESIDENT.

ACCORDING TO ANALYSIS, MINNESOTA RANKS IN THE TOP THREE WHEN IT COMES TO STATES IN WHICH TO FIND A JOB. MEDIAN INCOME, ACCESS TO BENEFITS, AND SUPPORT FOR WORKING PARENTS WERE SOME OF MINNESOTA’S STRONG POINTS.

A Funeral Service for John F. Rybak Jr. will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2:00PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at America Cemetery in Warroad, MN.
John passed away at the age of 63.

A Memorial Service for Delores M. Bodenhamer will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00AM at Riverside Lutheran Church in Wannaska, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Mickinock Cemetery, rural Wannaska, MN.
She passed away at the age of 87.
