A CORONER HAS FOUND NO EXTERNAL EVIDENCE OR INJURY THAT WOULD HAVE LED TO THE DEATH OF MYLES SANDERSON, ONE OF TWO MEN SUSPECTED OF KILLING 10 PEOPLE AND WOUNDING 18 OTHERS DURING A STABBING RAMPAGE IN THE JAMES SMITH CREE RESERVE IN SASKATCHEWAN. SANDERSON HAD ELUDED CAPTURE FOR FOUR DAYS. HE DIED WHILE IN POLICE CUSTODY, THE FINDINGS CLEAR UP ANY CONCERN OVER WHETHER POLICE HANDLED SANDERSON IN A MANNER THAT WOULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO HIS DEATH.

MULTIPLE MINNESOTA SCHOOLS DEALT WITH WHAT ARE BEING CONSIDERED HOAX THREATENING PHONE CALLS, SPEAKING OF ACTIVE SHOOTERS ON THEIR CAMPUSES. AT THE VERY LEAST, SCHOOLS IN ROCHESTER, MANKATO, CLOQUET, AND AUSTIN WERE AFFECTED. NO CREDIBLE THREATS WERE FOUND AT ANY LOCATION. THERE HAS BEEN A NATIONAL TREND WITH THIS HAPPENING IN RECENT WEEKS.
A FUNERAL SERVICE FOR ANN P. BAUMGARTNER OF ROSEAU WILL BE HELD THIS MORNING (11 AM) AT MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH IN ROSEAU. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE. INTERMENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT HOPE CEMETERY IN ROSEAU. ANN PASSED AWAY SEPTEMBER 16 AT THE AGE OF 100.
