REPORTED BY I NEWZ, 42-YEAR OLD TYSON MEIER OF WARROAD FACES FELONIES OF ASSAULT AND POSSESSION OF A FIREARM AFTER A PRIOR CONVICTION OF VIOLENCE. 55-YEAR OLD SCOTT PAINTER OF WARROAD FACES MISDEMEANOR CHARGES. ACCORDING TO THE COMPLAINT, MEIER WAS IN A GROUP OUTSIDE THE BAR, WHEN AN INTOXICATED PAINTER RAN INTO ANOTHER PERSON WITH HIS BIKE AND BECAME CONFRONTATIONAL. CELL PHONE VIDEO SHOWED MEIER ON TOP OF PAINTER HITTING HIM IN THE FACE. PAINTER REQUIRED SERIOUS MEDICAL ATTENTION.

COMMENTS FROM COMMUNITIES UNITED AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY, A STATE WIDE POLICE WATCHDOG GROUP, ARE BRINGING UP CONCERNS OVER WHETHER OR NOT ANYONE HAD A WEAPON AND WHY, GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES, A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS TEAM WAS NOT DISPATCHED.
THE SECOND OF TWO WINNIPEG WOMEN CAUGHT IN POSSESSION OF COCAINE AT THE WARROAD POINT OF ENTRY THIS SPRING HAS NOW PLEADED GUILTY TO HER CHARGE AND HAS RECEIVED A STAYED SENTENCE. 32-YEAR OLD SARAH SOPHIA ROSE WAS THE PASSENGER IN THAT VEHICLE, AND WILL BE ON SUPERVISED PROBATION FOR TWO YEARS AND IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A CHEMICAL USE ASSESSMENT.
Leroy Pulczinski, age 85, of Greenbush, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at LifeCare Roseau Manor.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Greenbush.
Interment services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery following services.
