A CROOKSTON MAN WAS ARRESTED LAST FRIDAY AFTER ALLEGEDLY STABBING HIS MOTHER AND TRYING TO STRANGLE HER. 36-YEAR OLD KEVIN CORONA WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. THE VICTIM WAS HIS MOTHER ANGIE GONZALEZ. SHE WAS HOSPITALIZED, BUT IS RECOVERING WELL. CORONA HAS BEEN LIVING WITH HIS MOTHER SINCE HIS RELEASE FROM PRISON, AND THEY SAY THE DISPUTE WAS OVER RELOCATION AND DRUG USE.

OVER THE WEEKEND, THEY HAD PUT A BOIL WATER ORDER IN PLACE, THEN HAD TAKEN THAT OFF, BUT THEN YESTERDAY MORNING SAID THE WATER MAIN HAD BROKEN AGAIN, AND SOME RESIDENTS WERE WITHOUT WATER, AND FOR THOSE WHO HAD IT, A BOIL WATER ADVISORY WAS BACK IN PLACE.
