IT WAS ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY THAT THE UNITED STATES WILL EASE BORDER RESTRICTIONS WITH CANADA, ALLOWING NON-ESSENTIAL CANADIAN TRAVELERS WHO HAVE BEEN FULLY VACCINATED TO ENTER THE U.S. VIA LAND AND FERRY PORTS OF ENTRY, EFFECTIVE IN NOVEMBER, WITH THE EXACT DATE STILL TO BE ANNOUNCED. THE SAME RULES WILL APPLY AT U.S.-MEXICO BORDER CROSSINGS. IN JANUARY, THE U.S. WILL ALSO REQUIRE THAT EVEN ESSENTIAL TRAVELERS, SUCH AS TRUCK DRIVERS, BE VACCINATED.
