THIEF RIVER PREVAILED IN FIVE SETS TO BEAT THE ROSEAU RAMS, 15-12 IN THE FIFTH.

BGMR HAD A STRAIGHT SETS WIN OVER WARROAD.

TENNIS:

ROSEAU LOST TO CROOKSTON 7-0 IN THE SECTION 8A TEAM TOURNEY. ROSEAU HAS SINGLES AND DOUBLES THAT WILL COMPETE IN THAT FORMAT.

CROSS COUNTRY:

ROSEAU PLACED FIRST AT A BOYS NORTHWEST CONFERENCE MEET IN EAST GRAND FORKS.

ROSEAU HAD FOUR BOYS NAMED ALL-CONFERENCE, AND ONE FROM THE GIRLS TEAM.

FOOTBALL:

GOODRIDGE-GRYGLA HANDED STEPHEN-ARGYLE THEIR FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON, 15-12. BOTH TEAMS ARE NOW 6-1.

WARREN BEAT KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL.

FOSSTON REMAINED UNDEFEATED, BEATING BGMR.

 

WNBA:

THE LYNX CAME BACK FROM AN 18 POINT HOLE TO TAKE GAME 1 OF THE FINALS 95-93 FROM NEW YORK IN OVERTIME.

 

NHL:

THE MINNESOTA WILD WON THEIR OPENER 3-2 OVER COLUMBUS. MATT BOLDY HAD A GOAL AND TWO ASSISTS.
